Here’s a list of Bluey-themed games that kids will love playing at a birthday party:

  1. Musical Statues (Dance Mode): Play the Bluey theme song, and when the music stops, everyone freezes like a statue.

  2. Keepy Uppy: Use a balloon, and kids have to keep it in the air as long as possible, just like in the Bluey episode.

  3. Pin the Tail on Bluey: A Bluey twist on the classic pin-the-tail game.

  4. Bluey Treasure Hunt: Hide small toys or treats, and let the kids go on a Bluey-themed treasure hunt.

Party Timeline (3 Hours approx.)

I am all about keeping things simple and fun, so here’s a party timeline that I used for my little one’s Bluey-themed birthday party. It’s a great way to make sure everything runs smoothly, and it’s packed with fun moments for the kids to enjoy!

Welcome & Activity Setup (10-15 minutes)

As your guests arrive, set up a fun activity right from the start. You can give the kids something simple, like Bluey coloring pages or a word search game. This keeps everyone entertained while waiting for all the guests to arrive.
  • Tip: Use your Party Planning Template to jot down which activities you want to start with!

Main Games & Activities (30-45 minutes)

Now that everyone is settled, kick off with the main Bluey-themed games. Some of my favorites include:
  • I think it’s all about your kid’s preferences! If your child has a favorite game, definitely include it in the party plans. After all, it’s their special day, and you want them to have the most fun possible. And if you have got a game your kid loves that isn’t mentioned here, please feel free to comment below! I will love to add more great ideas to help other parents plan the perfect Bluey-themed party.
  • Keepy Uppy: Use a balloon and challenge the kids to keep it off the ground.
  • Pin the Tail on Bluey: A fun twist on the classic party game.
  • Musical Statues (Dance Mode): Play the Bluey theme song and have the kids freeze when the music stops!
  • Tip: Don’t forget to note down your chosen games in the template so you can keep track!

Food & Snacks Break (20-30 minutes)

Time for a little break! Serve some Bluey-themed snacks or simple cupcakes. You could even create a cute Bluey snack table with Bluey cupcakes, themed cookies, or other fun treats the kids will love.
  • Tip: In the Party Planning Template, you can plan out your snack menu and jot down ideas for the cake!

Cake Cutting & Singing (10-15 minutes)

After the snack break, gather everyone for the cake cutting ceremony. Sing “Happy Birthday,” and let the birthday kid blow out the candles. The cake is usually a highlight, so be sure to take lots of pictures!
  • Tip: Make sure your camera is ready, and get some great group shots during the cake cutting!

Dancing & Fun (20 minutes)

Once the cake is cut, let the kids burn off some energy with a dance party! Play the Bluey theme song or any fun kids’ music and let them show off their best moves. You can even turn it into a dance competition for added excitement.

Final Game or Activity (15-20 minutes)

As the party starts to wind down, it’s a good idea to have a final game or activity. A fun scavenger hunt works perfectly, or you can play Bluey Musical Chairs. This keeps the energy up while helping wrap up the party with a final burst of fun.

Thank You & Goodbyes (10 minutes)

Before the kids leave, hand out Bluey and Bingo-themed goodie bags as a thank you for coming. It’s a nice way to end the party, and the kids love taking something home.
  • Tip: Fill the bags with small Bluey toys, stickers, or candies!

Conclusion

Planning a Bluey-themed birthday party is such an exciting journey when you have all the right ideas in one place! With decorations, games, food, and even party bags sorted, you can create a day your little one will absolutely love. Don’t forget to use the Party Planning Template to keep everything organized, and most importantly, make sure to include your child’s favorite activities.
